Historic. Cozy, relaxed fine dining is the mode in the restored circa-1900 gristmill. Included in the good selection of specialties is mountain trout with cornmeal breading and black walnuts, snap peas and red potatoes. Local chicken and beef and other seafood choices are among the other options. Portions are large. The uniformed staff is attentive, informed and professional. Table spacing is tight, but good friends and new ones alike will have an enjoyable time here.
