Pros: Comfortable bed after removing all the pillows. Nice breakfast, friendly management, good bathroom and shower

Cons: Too much clutter in room, not enough room for luggage, too many pillows in bed, got hot during night with no way to turn up air conditioning, roses next to gate needed pruning , I scratched my arm on a thorn from them. Parking on street

Pros: Enjoyed our stay here very much. Linda was very helpful with info about the town. House is beautifully appointed and maintained. Breakfast was delicious!

Pros: It's a cosy place where we felt very welcome and relaxed completely. The house itself is fantastic and the pool is nice and big. It is not an hotel and you get to chat with Linda and Wayne! We had two different kinds of breakfast and that was fun. We enjoyed the cats. The location is excellent with the Blue Ridge Parkway just a stonethrow away. And all the vineyards.

Cons: It is slightly overwhelming with all the various objects on display in the house. The number of objects tends to overshadow the beauty of the house itself.

Pros: This is a sumptuous bed and breakfast. Linda and Wayne are great hosts, and we felt as though we were home, except in an exceptional grand old home with extraordinary antiques throughout. Breakfast was exquisite with lots of fresh fruit and home-made offerings. We were pleasantly surprised and would love to come back again.

Pros: A B&B with loads of character and in a great location. Green Leave Grill round the corner excellent. Would love to go back. Oh, the cats are only downstairs in entrance some of the time

Pros: Linda and Wayne very welcoming. We were at first perturbed at the dining room setting all guests eating around the same table. but this worked very well, it encouraged conversation and we did meet some very interesting people.

Cons: Linda is obviously keen on collecting antiques and wanting to retain the house in its original style. But while we accept this is their home. The bedroom was very cluttered and we struggled to find places to store our belongings a little less clutter in the room would have helped. Also it would have been nice to have access to tea and coffee making facilities. there was clearly a place on the corridor but no hot water available.

Pros: The Magnolia room was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable so it was great to then wake up to a delicious breakfast. The swimming pool was nicely maintained and refreshing for an evening swim. Wayne and Linda were warm and friendly folks.

Cons: Not a thing. Great experience.

Pros: Very individual place, crammed with lots of bric a brac and all sorts of period pieces. Rooms so individual. Hosts very welcoming

Cons: I am ok with cats but not everyone might be so perhaps it does need to be mentioned in the description. It mentions no pets allowed but no mention of the two cats.
