Little Saigon

Little Saigon extends from the eastern edge of the International District to Rainier Ave. S. This commercial district, a bit shabby in appearance but with its own distinct character, is filled with grocers, beauty salons, law offices, pho houses and other small, family-owned businesses catering to the city's sizable Vietnamese-American community. Stand at the intersection of S. Jackson Street and 12th Avenue S., the heart of Little Saigon, and look around you; every storefront sports a brightly colored sign in Vietnamese.
