White River Valley Museum, in Les Gove Park at 918 H St. S.E., has exhibits about Puget Sound history, Northwest Indian culture, Japanese immigration and the Northern Pacific Railroad. A life-size exhibit depicts downtown Auburn in the 1920s. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$5; $2 (ages 0-17 and 63+); free (to all first Thurs. and third Sun. of the month). Guided tour free (with paid admission).
Hours: Wed.-Sun. noon-4 (also first Thurs. of the month 6-8 p.m.). Guided tours depart Thurs. at 1. Closed early Jan., Easter, Thanksgiving and late Dec.
