AAA Editor Notes
Bellevue Botanical Garden is at 12001 Main St. in Wilburton Hill Park. A half-mile nature trail traverses this 53-acre tract of rolling hills, native woodlands, meadows and bogs. Another trail, the Ravine Experience, winds for three-tenths of a mile through second-growth forest and crosses a 150-foot long suspension bridge. Gardens illustrate the use of ground covers, alpine plants, perennials, drought tolerant plants, ferns and Northwest native plants. A Japanese-influenced garden honors Yao, Bellevue's sister city in Japan.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
