Pros: Under a major renovation The rooms are updated and clean.
Cons: The atrium lobby is under a total renovation. It once was lush gardens and ponds with inter woven seating areas. This has all been removed and is an enormous empty area. Parts are partitioned off. While under renovation it's not very inviting

Pros: Nice quality, good breakfast.
Cons: The suites, free breakfast and happy hour were a mecca for families with small children, especially on Sat/Sun. It was noisy, packed, and the pool and spa were always full with small children. Our "baby" is 16, so next time we'll stay somewhere else.

Pros: Hotel is located in a business area, so the neighborhood is pleasingly quiet if you stay on a weekend. The evening reception and included hot breakfast are always a welcome part of the Embassy experience. Friendly staff, very clean room.
Cons: Initially, we were not given what we had booked (two queens) and those were sold out. This was rectified by front desk giving us two rooms. OK in our situation, but would have been a problem for a younger family. We appreciated the effort to accommodate.
