Ice Harbor Lock and Dam is 5 mi. e. on SR 124, then 3 mi. n. to 2763 Monument Dr. The dam is one of four dams on the lower Snake River extending river barge navigation from the Pacific Ocean to Lewiston, Idaho. Lake Sacajawea, formed by the dam, covers 9,200 acres. A visitor center has a fish viewing room and displays about the dam. Several videos about salmon and the dam can be seen as well.
Note: The road crossing the dam is currently closed due to security concerns.
