Cama Beach Historical State Park faces Saratoga Passage on the w. side of Camano Island at 1880 S.W. Camano Dr. Located at the site of a historic fishing resort that opened in 1932, this 463-acre park has 5.5 miles of gravel trails that loop through woods on their way to a mile-long beach. A 1-mile trail leads to nearby Camano Island State Park.

Stroll past the beachfront historic district's renovated cottages and visit the Center for Wooden Boats, where you can learn about the resort's heyday and inquire about boat rentals and kayak tours. The Historic Store information desk located on the beach has natural history displays and a collection of resort memorabilia. Free shuttles link parking lots with the historic district. Workshops, children's activities and guided interpretive walks all are offered.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
