Lewis County Historical Museum is at 599 N.W. Front Way. Located in the historic 1912 Northern Pacific Depot, the museum features a blacksmith shop, saw filing shop, general store, pioneer kitchen, Chehalis Indian artifacts and a model railroad exhibit. There also is an extensive research library focusing on genealogy and Lewis County history as well as a hands-on area for children. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$5; $4 (ages 7-18 and 60+).
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-5, Memorial Day-Labor Day; Tues.-Fri. 10-4, Sat. 10-2, rest of year. Closed major holidays.
