Orcas Island Historical Museum is in the village of Eastsound at 181 North Beach Rd. The museum features six homestead cabins built 1870-1900. The cabins and non-historic connecting rooms contain displays relating to Native American habitation and early settlement. There are historical exhibits in the one-room Crow Valley School, on Crow Valley Road.
Museum $5; $4 (ages 60+); $3 (ages 12-18 and college students with ID); free (ages 0-12 with an adult). School by donation.
Hours: Museum open Wed.-Sat. 11-4, Sun. noon-3, Memorial Day weekend-late Sept.; Wed.-Sat. noon-3, rest of year. School open Fri.-Sat. noon-4, Memorial Day weekend-late Sept.; by appointment rest of year.
