Northwest Trek Wildlife Park is 6 mi. n. on SR 161 to 11610 Trek Dr. E. This 725-acre park features animals native to the Pacific Northwest. A naturalist-guided tram tour through this 435-acre free-roaming area allows visitors to see moose, caribou, elk, bison and other animals in their natural habitats. A walk-through area features forest dwellers, grizzly bear and black bear habitat and other large predator exhibits. Kids' Trek features a nature discovery center and nature-themed playground. A picnic pavilion also is available.

The park's Zip Wild Adventure features a variety of challenges, including barreling along ziplines, climbing a 30-foot wall, crawling across a cargo net and negotiating a narrow, zigzagging bridge. Participants tackle one of five courses at their own pace.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.

Admission
Park admission $23; $21 (ages 65+ and military with ID); $15 (ages 5-12); $11 (ages 3-4). Zip Wild Adventure admission (includes safety equipment and access to a practice course) $21.95-$69.95 per person. Participants must be 5 years of age or older, be at least 38 inches tall and weigh less than 275 pounds; reservations are required.

Park opens daily at 9:30, mid-Mar. to early Oct.; Fri.-Sun. at 9:30, rest of year. Closing times vary. Zip Wild Adventure daily 10-5, mid-June to early Sept.; Sat.-Sun. 10-4, early May to mid-June and early-late Sept. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 3 hours minimum.
