Northwest Trek Wildlife Park is 6 mi. n. on SR 161 to 11610 Trek Dr. E. This 725-acre park features animals native to the Pacific Northwest. A naturalist-guided tram tour through this 435-acre free-roaming area allows visitors to see moose, caribou, elk, bison and other animals in their natural habitats. A walk-through area features forest dwellers, grizzly bear and black bear habitat and other large predator exhibits. Kids' Trek features a nature discovery center and nature-themed playground. A picnic pavilion also is available.

The park's Zip Wild Adventure features a variety of challenges, including barreling along ziplines, climbing a 30-foot wall, crawling across a cargo net and negotiating a narrow, zigzagging bridge. Participants tackle one of five courses at their own pace.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 3 hours minimum.
