Edmonds Historical Museum, 118 N. 5th Ave., chronicles the settlement and growth of Edmonds and southern Snohomish County. Special exhibits include a working model of a shingle mill, an original 1922 jail cell and a marine room displaying the city's maritime heritage. The museum occupies the former 1910 Carnegie Library/City Hall and offers changing regional history exhibits. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$5; $2 (ages 65+ and students with ID).
Hours: Wed.-Sun. 1-4. Closed major holidays.
