Pacific Bonsai Museum is .25 mi. e. of northbound I-5 exit 142A via SR 18 to the Weyerhaeuser Way exit, then .25 mi. n. following signs; from southbound I-5 take exit 143, then e. on S. 320th St. a quarter mi., then s. 1 mi. on Weyerhaeuser Way following signs. This 1-acre facility was established as a symbol of the importance of trading relationships with Pacific Rim countries. The collection includes more than 60 bonsai trees from the United States, Canada, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan. Several of the trees are more than 500 years old. Bonsai-themed fine art also is on display.
