Forks Timber Museum is .75 mi. s. on US 101 to 1421 S. Forks Ave. The museum has a variety of items from the 1750s to present day. Displays include historic photographs, farm equipment and steam engine models. Logging equipment and a fire lookout tower document Forks' role as an important logging community. Logger's Memorial features a 10-foot-tall logger carved from a cedar log. There are gardens, nature trails and picnic tables on the grounds.

Picnicking is permitted.

$3; free (ages 0-12 and military with ID).

Mon.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. 11-4, Memorial Day-Labor Day; Mon.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. 11-4, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Allow 1 hour minimum.
