Lewis Army Museum is off I-5 exit 120, then s. on 41st Division Dr., w. on Pendelton Ave., following signs. Located at one of the Army's largest permanent posts, the museum features galleries and an outdoor exhibit displaying weapons, uniforms and vehicles relevant to the Army's history in the Pacific Northwest. The base was the first military installation created as the result of a gift of land by private citizens to the federal government. Note: Visitors must obtain a pass at the main gate visitor center, south of I-5 exit 120; driver's license or passport, proof of insurance and vehicle registration is required. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
