Issaquah Depot Museum is at 78 1st Ave. N.E. Located in a restored 1889 railroad depot, the museum contains exhibits detailing the history of the local railway and the development of Issaquah. In addition to railroad memorabilia, there is a model railroad layout and an exhibit on telegraphy. Visitors can board an old army railroad car and a vintage caboose. The Issaquah Valley Trolley offers 15-minute round trips aboard a restored, historic trolley car that runs on a half-mile of track while the conductor entertains riders with tidbits about local history. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$2; $1 (ages 0-17). Museum and Trolley $5.
Hours: Fri.-Sun. 11-3 (also Thurs. 4-8, June-Aug.). Trolley departs the Issaquah Depot every half hour Sat.-Sun. 11-3, late May-Sept. 30 (weather permitting). Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
