Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery

Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery is 2 mi. s. on Icicle Rd. to 12790 Fish Hatchery Rd. The hatchery is part of the Grand Coulee Dam project. More than 1.2 million chinook salmon are raised at the hatchery annually. A visitor center illustrates the life history of salmon. The hatchery holds a salmon festival in late September.
