While the meal is awesome, half the fun is the ferry ride to Lummi Island and spending the night in such a peaceful, dark and rejuvenating place.

The chefs motto - "Fished, foraged and farmed. Only here, only now." - is very evident in each course that is locally gathered or sourced and then prepared in a show kitchen visible to diners. Several courses feature island seafood, but also typically offered is a lamb or beef course along with a wide variety of mushroom and vegetable courses served in the most unique ways. I was very impressed with the smoke-filled box and other surprises throughout the evening. A stay on the island is a must.
