Pros: They advertised about being a pet friendly place but I was still a little nervous about bring our 100 pound Golden Retriever with us. I couldn't of asked for a more excepting host and hostess. THANK YOU
Cons: Our room was at the end of the hallway( that was great) but, the outside door was an emergency exit only. It would of been nice to slip out that door to take Sam outside. Instead we had to go through the lobby each time.

Pros: Probably the most comfortable bed and pillows we've ever had in a hotel! Packwood is a neat little town and the elk out our back window and on the road were awesome!
Cons: The staff! Rude, rude, rude!!! We popped in around noon because we were there. Didn't ask to check in, just wanted to know when the room would be ready, but before we had time to ask, both the man and lady in charge jumped down our throats with "You're too early, way to early! You can't check in until 3:00...and if you're looking for a bathroom (which BTW we didn't ask for!), we don't have one!!!" They really left a bad taste in our mouths...we really didn't even want to go back! They need to take a "How to make your guests feel welcome" class!!! However, despite their rude behavior, the stay was fine and the room extremely comfy.

Pros: Ideally situated between Mt. Rainier, St. Helens and Adams.
Cons: Not the fault of the property, but there were limited food options. Able to make do for the 3 days we were there but would have been struggling after that.
