Sacajawea Historical State Park is .5 mi. n. on N. 4th Ave., 4.4 mi. e. on US 12, then 2 mi. s. to 2503 Sacajawea Park Rd. The 284-acre park features shorelines at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia rivers. The park is named for the Shoshone woman who served as the guide for the Lewis and Clark expedition; the expedition party camped here in October 1805.

The Sacajawea Interpretive Center has interactive exhibits and also displays bone and stone tools up to 12,000 years old.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
