Museum at the Carnegie is at 207 S. Lincoln St. Housed in the town's renovated 1919 Carnegie Library building, the museum showcases Clallam County history via displays of donated memorabilia and thousands of historic photos. Permanent and changing exhibits describe the county's four Native American tribes, the arrival of early explorers, the northern Olympic peninsula's shipbuilding industry and the creation of Olympic National Park. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
Hours: Wed.-Sat. 1-4 or by appointment. Closed major holidays.
