Jefferson Museum of Art and History is in the restored 1891 city hall building at 540 Water St. The museum exhibits Northwest Coast Indian artifacts and maritime memorabilia, and also highlights the city's Victorian heritage. A digital theater shows historical photos from the museum's extensive collection and “We Came With Dreams,” a video about what has drawn people to Port Townsend over the years. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$6; $5 (ages 65+); $1 (ages 3-12).
Hours: Daily 11-4, Mar.-Dec.; Sat.-Sun. 11-4, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1 and Christmas.
