Charles R. Conner Natural History Museum is on the first floor of Abelson Hall on the Washington State University campus. Three galleries display more than 700 mounted birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. The museum's research collection numbers more than 65,000 specimens, including displays that were part of Washington state's exhibits at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Visitor parking permits can be purchased at the WSU Visitor Center, located at E. Main and N.E. Spring streets. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
