family with young children
Pros: The shuttle to the bus stop to get to downtown Seattle was great.
The staff was very friendly.
The free Wifi was very good, I was able to connect to a PS4 for my child in the down time before bed.
The free breakfast was really really good, eggs, sausage, waffle machine and everything else you would want.
Free room safe to use.
Flat screen TV was massive for a hotel looked to be a 55".
Cons: We had the double queen bed and the room was way too small. We barely had room to walk around alone let alone with a child. I think they need to get rid of the chair/ottoman in the corner by the window, and replace it with a table that fits in the corner with a couple of chairs so you can eat at. yes there is a desk, but there is no room to put a chair around it. I realize hotels in Seattle are expensive, but this one was away from downtown, and for paying $250+ a night (CDN), I expected a bigger room.
The fridge was horrible. Way too small for an extended stay, and the "freezer" was an inch tall. Just enough for a very small ice tray, which is useless as the ice machine is down the hall. I would have rather lost a couple of drawers and get a better sized fridge.
It's obvious this hotel is meant for people to just sleep there and not spend any time in the room, and if that is all you need, then it's great, but since we stayed for four nights, and have a 7 year old, we are not for staying out late, and we also like relaxing, buying some food at a restaurant and bringing some back to the room for snacks (Pizza, lasagna, etc). The lack of a table to eat at and a fridge that hold anything does not give anyone an option.
Sorry no photos of the room, I usually do that, but I was pretty unimpressed overall by the size of the room when we walked in, and I forgot to take them after.
