Pros: Everything about Lakespur landing was fantastic! The staff, the property, and the room were outstanding for the price. For the value of a closet in Seattle, we landed the Executive Suite here. Complete with a range, full size fridge, full size kitchen sink, huge bathroom, bedroom with a door, and living room with pull out sofa bed... This place was far better and feature-packed than was expected!
Cons: Found out what a "charming" city Renton is. There is a bit of a sketch factor in some areas, but overall it isn't terrible.

Pros: This was the second time we stayed at the Larkspur Landing. We returned because the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the location was great. There were complimentary washers and dryers which were very convenient!

Pros: Everybody was truely helpful & wanted us to feel welcome. There was not alot of shopping....but we took walks daily. They had a shuttle to take us where we needed to go. We walked to restaurants. We did laundry there...it was free. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
Cons: I cant think of anything.

Cons: They seemed to always be out of the "free" stuff like coffee, cookies, the for sale stuff never seemed to get replenished either. Breakfast foods were odd.

Pros: Rooms were ok
Cons: They are really understaffed. We had a problem with reservation and had to go back about 4 times to front desk. It was a different person every time and they just didn't have the time to sort it out. Very frustrating.
There is really and issue with third party bookings. Staff blamed Bookings.com for problem and said they could not resolve it.
I would not stay here again.

Pros: All the room amenities were present as advertised. The room was clean, comfortable, and well climate controlled. There are two bus stops about a block away, and lots more nearby if you don't mind a little walking. I enjoyed walking past the Wizards of the Coast office every morning. It made me smile to think I was so near the place where magic (the Gathering, as well as DnD and more) is made. After staying for a week, I was starting to wonder if I really needed anything bigger than that room.
Cons: The kitchen had no oven. For the fourth or fifth night we stayed, housekeeping made the bed so that the thick, down mattress pad was falling off the end of the bed. I had to fix it myself. Don't use a debit card if you are booking in advance! They took the entire amount out of my account the day after I booked the stay and didn't know I had already paid when I showed up. They got that straightened out fairly quickly though. The hot tub was under construction, too.

Pros: The evening greeter was very nice trying to deal with a "lost reservation"- blamed on Booking.com
Cons: i booked my reservation same day via Booking.com arrived at the property approx 8hr later. After a hard day of working and fighting traffic. When i arrived they looked at me blankly the very sweet trainee. She stated they didn't have the room i reserved. I gave her the confirmation number and she stated that Booking.com was notorious for selling rooms prior to checking their availability. I said sorry to hear that and that sounded like an issue for them to discuss with them directly. >> A call to the manager... and they find a smaller room on the ground floor Grrrr. ]
She was kind and placed a bottle of wine in my room. Her manager who was negotiating prices for the mistake over the phone via the trainee as the middle man kinda like buying a car poor girl. This was her boss for crying out loud. Feeling sorry for the girl, I said I would discuss with him personally in the morning i was spent.
Room was old, dated, bathroom filthy, bed super soft, defiantly not worth anything over the current Super 6 weekday price. $236.00 was absurd. Welcome to Greater Seattle.. Sits in an industrial area right down the road from IKEA.. Granted they could have placed me in a throw back emergency room for all I know.
Next day Christopher ( i think his name was) manager who couldn't get out of the back room chair to chat with me in person. simply stating the best he could do was give me the going rate of the smaller room of which I was given minus $20.00. I was livid. He sent a front office girl to do his dirty work. There was no negotiations the poor girl had no idea the circumstances that had occurred.
I had run out of time and patience with the situation. Walked out...
Will never go back .. And will continue to post negativity.
Oh about the ground floor. I had a guy maybe AC guy in my window early the next morning. Checking the machine, possibly like at 6:30am no notification from the front desk nothing.

Pros: Staff was very helpful in trying to get us a taxi and make sure we got to our destination on time, especially since the first taxi called could not find the hotel.
Cons: Several bus loads of guests had just departed for their busses when we came down for breakfast, so there were just a few boiled eggs and odd juices left. The staff refilled coffee and hot water and pastries as quickly as possible, but the variety was slim because they had been wiped out of most breakfast items.

Pros: 1) We were able to leave our luggage ahead of time (5 hours before check in).
2) Close to our business meeting location.
3) Room size and amenities are just right for a suite.
4) Hotel Shuttle is available for a fair distance.
Cons: 1) When we left our luggage, there was no security check. We were not even asked for identification to verify if we are actually booked. This is a serious security issue for the hotel & its guests.
2) On the first day, the comforter and pillow did not look fresh and neat. The impression was that the room has just been used and arranged in a hurry.
3) For guests staying week-long and from different nationalities, having the "same" breakfast everyday was below average, more of a budget hotel standard. Coffee is terrible.
4) Staff service is just fair, except for "David" who tried his best to accommodate our issues while checking out.
5) Receipt was not provided while checking out, citing that since we booked through a third party (Booking.com), the third party is supposed to give us the receipt. That doesn't make sense at all. The hotel should be able to provide a receipt in its official letterhead with basic details such as the name of the guest, room number and period of stay. For the amount, it could be indicated as "zero" with a notation that it was paid through a third party. As of this writing, thanks to Booking.com who helped us sort this out. Thanks also to the hotel who managed to provide the Receipt by e-mail. May this be a standard for checking out.

Pros: The staff was GREAT! We were visiting the Seattle area for an Anniversary. We got in early and asked to check in a little early. We didn't have to wait long at all. Even though we didn't have 24 hours in the room, we still enjoyed the space. We brought our little four and a half pound dog and LOVED the fact that we only had to pay an extra $10.00. Our puppy is so good and never leaves a mess. We don't leave her alone in the hotel in case she might bark. It is so NICE to be respected as a pet owner.
Cons: Everything was great, but it would have been nice to have an ice machine and vending machine on our floor.

Pros: We were in Renton to take part in the Seahawks run and took advantage of the shuttle service to and from the event which was perfect! We had a great night's sleep on the wonderful beds the night before the event so were well-rested and ready to run!
Cons: What I didn't like was the fact that we couldn't stay longer and had to get back to work on Monday!

Pros: Larkspur Landing was on our way for a trip from Spokane to Pacific Lutheran University. And it is a far finer place to stay than what is offered in Parkland. It is a nice looking facility. It is easy to access from 167 once you know where it is.
Cons: It was a little awkward to find the first time. The breakfast facility design is poor. Only one or two people can comfortably maneuver in the space. Breakfast offerings were rather minimal -- did not match the presentation the hotel makes as you approach it and when you are inside the lobby.

Pros: The housekeeping staff was always very polite and accommodating, especially Keisha. When I asked for service Keisha went above and beyond with clean linens, lots of towels (we have three kids). Free breakfast was a nice touch and fun for the kids. Free laundry was a huge plus. We stayed 11 nights and I was washing clothes every other day. I was also really grateful we could have our 50 pound dalmatian lab mix with us.
Cons: The second day we were here our grouchy neighbors banged on the wall to complain about our kids making noise. They also called the front desk. The manager (I think) called me and was rude in her tone about getting them to be quiet. We were staying during a home reno. It was an adjustment for the kids not to rough house and yell at each other like normal, and I didn't realize the rooms aren't well insulated.
Also, when we first arrived at the 3 pm check-in time, we had to wait 30 minutes for housekeeping to clean our room. Fortunately, the woman at the front desk (also, super helpful providing room necessities later) comped us $20 off our stay. The TV's weren't great quality, the Internet jack didn't work, one burner was broken which limited my cooking ability, and there was a leak from the toilet. I requested maintenence but the issues weren't resolved. I also had another issue with the manager type lady when I called housekeeping for toilet paper and she told me to come up to the front desk to get it. The woman who comped us, came right to our room when I asked for towels and dish soap.
