AAA Editor Notes
Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture is on the University of Washington campus. The museum focuses on the natural and cultural history of the Pacific Rim. Displays draw from a permanent collection numbering more than 16 million objects, while diverse special exhibits portray this part of the world's natural and cultural stories. Family and children's events are scheduled year-round.
Note: The museum is closed and moving its collection to a new building. It is scheduled to reopen fall 2019.
