Coast Guard Museum Northwest is at Pier 36 at 1519 Alaskan Way S. The museum displays nautical items, ship models, Coast Guard memorabilia and more than 15,000 photographs dating from the mid-1800s. Other highlights include pieces of wood from the USS Constitution and HMS Bounty.
Note: Visitors must show photo ID in order to gain admittance to the building. Visitors and their vehicles may be searched at any time while on the premises.
Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
