AAA Editor Notes

Jim Ellis Freeway Park spans Seattle's eight-lane freeway (I-5) and connects downtown at Seneca St. to First Hill and the Washington State Convention and Trade Center. Dotted with greenery and water cascades, the park, also known as Ellis Park, is a 5-acre plaza commemorating the Bicentennial. A distinctive feature is the Naramore Fountain, a towerlike arrangement of bronze by George Tsutakawa at 6th Avenue and Seneca Street.
