Ride the Ducks departs from two locations: Seattle Center at the n.e. corner of 5th and Broad sts. (year-round) and from Westlake Center at 4th and Pine sts. (Apr.-Dec.). These whimsical tours (sing-alongs are encouraged) are conducted in World War II-era amphibious vehicles that operate on both land and water. The tour includes downtown Seattle highlights as well as sightseeing on Lake Union. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
Fare $35; $32 (ages 65+ and military with ID); $20 (ages 4-12); $5 (ages 0-3). Quacker noisemaker $2.50. Reservations are recommended.
Hours: Tours depart Seattle Center daily every 30 minutes 9:30-7, July-Aug.; 10-6, in Sept.; 10-5, Apr.-June and in Oct.; 10-3, Jan.-Mar.; 11-3, rest of year. Tours depart Westlake Center daily 11-3, May-Sept. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
