Seattle Children's Museum is on the lower level of the Seattle Center Armory, 305 Harrison St., on the Seattle Center grounds. The museum encourages children and adults to participate in hands-on, innovative and educational activities. Interactive exhibits invite children to create an artistic masterpiece, explore a miniature grocery store and discover new cultures. Interpretive workshops complement the exhibits. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$9.25; $8.25 (grandparents); $8 (active military with ID); free (ages 0-11 months).
Hours: Mon.-Fri. 10-5, Sat.-Sun. 10-6. Last admission 1 hour before closing. Closed Jan. 1, first week in Sept., Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
