AAA Inspector Notes
In a converted 1904 building, this hotel offers unique, upscale accommodations right in the heart of the historic Pioneer Square district. The property offers a convenient location not far from shops, businesses, the Washington State ferries and several sports venues, including Safeco and CenturyLink Fields. Due to the historic nature of the building, guest rooms come in a variety of shapes and sizes with my favorite being the corner rooms with some having spectacular city and bay views. Looking to take a cool artsy photo, take the elevator to an upper floor and look down the center of the staircase. Smoke free premises. 262 units, some efficiencies. 15 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: It was conveniently located to the light rail which goes to the airport; the bed was comfortable; the front desk staff were very nice; the elevator requires a key card so it felt a little more secure.

Pros: The hotel was attractive but what excelled was the extraordinary greeting that one receives upon arrival. The staff generally wants their guests to enjoy their stay and were a good referral source for restaurants and directions.
Cons: The restaurant on site did not have extended hours of operation.
