Guest rooms are very compact in size but offer retro-cool décor and scaled-down furnishings. While smaller in size, the 'sexy' lobby has some comfy seating and a free happy hour pint. This is a great choice if you're looking for a centrally located hotel and just need a place to rest your head. While spending the night, music lovers should remember to visit the fifth floor, which features life-size photographs of some of the most famous rock stars who came out of Seattle. Some guest rooms come with a turntable and albums for your listening delight. Smoke free premises. 163 units. 10 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: Freshly styled decor, personable staff, security elevator (need room key to go up)
Cons: 10th floor wreaked of incense or something. Smelled like a camp fire in the hallway. Not the room, just the hallway. It is Seattle though.

Elaborating on what I said above, the entire staff was exceptional. Everyone that we talked to went out of their way to be helpful and pleasant. We never had a chance to use the exercise room, but it was equipped with 2 elliptical machines, 2 treadmills a complete set of dumbbells - enough to get a quick workout in if you wanted to. When we first checked in we were given a ridiculously small room with a queen bed, a shower (no bath) and a very small powder room. We honestly thought it was designed for one person. When we voiced our concerns to the gentlemen at the front desk, he immediately "upgraded" us to a room with a king bed and a larger bathroom and was very professional while handling this. The bed was very comfortable, however the room was still small. On a positive note, there were plenty of plugs and USB connections so that you could charge any electronics that needed it. This can sometimes be a problem in hotel rooms. Although there is no dining room in the hotel, there is a very nice restaurant attached to it which, if you choose to, will bill your meal to your room. Parking was somewhat of a challenge unless you were willing to pay $42/night valet service. I would recommend this hotel however I would temper my recommendation with an explanation about the size of the rooms, which was definitely a negative.
Pros: The front desk staff was unique. The staff dressed considerably more "casual" than I am used to seeing in those positions, however they were VERY cordial, professional and attentive. They were definitely the best part of our stay.
Cons: The room was very small. My wife and I had a difficult time maneuvering around without running into each other.

Pros: Located within walking distance to many of the sights.
Cons: Elevators are tiny and one was broken down for nearly our entire stay which made it virtually impossible to use. There's no excuse for that.
