AAA Inspector Notes
This convention-oriented, high-rise hotel offers many guest rooms with sweeping easterly views. Due to new construction adjacent to this hotel, most all westerly facing guest rooms are losing their water views, but a few guest rooms at the end of the hall still offer a dramatic peek at Elliott Bay. Pros: We enjoyed a standard double bed guestroom. The room was immaculate and spacious. We were extremely comfortable throughout our stay and benefited from the hotel's prime location, in the heart of Downtown Seattle (walking distance from library and park).
Cons: Renaissance Seattle's lack of free WiFi and neglectful service at their Maxwells dining facility were rather disappointing considering the hotel's rating. Daily internet fee was expensive and we waited nearly 20 minutes before being able to find a waiter.
