AAA Inspector Notes
Guests dine in a softly lit room where your eye constantly scans the collage of life in Mexico for a photo you missed. From a country where family units are tight, you're sure the waiter's mother or aunt is cooking and his sister keeps your water glass full. Specializing in the cuisine and drinks of Oaxaca, they pour one of the largest selections of mescal in all of Washington and even offer flights of three to compare tastes. Lunch is served Wednesday-Saturday from noon to 3 pm. A few of the excellent dishes to choose from include: tacos dorados, tamales de mole, ceviche de pescado , chile relleno and enchiladas verdes con pollo.
