When I want to show friends what a truly elegant, traditional hotel dining room looks like, I take them here for lunch or afternoon tea.
AAA Inspector Notes
Historic. The grand, elegant dining room is adorned with formal Renaissance appointments and gilded trim. Built in 1924, it's on the National Register of Historic Places. Carefully prepared and creatively presented dishes on the Continental menu are created from fresh, local ingredients. Seafood is always a solid choice in the Northwest, so a good meal might include the steamed halibut with sticky rice and a berry granita for dessert. The traditional afternoon tea is a fun experience. Guests should check ahead for holiday hours and special events information.
