AAA Inspector Notes
New in 2016, this hotel is located just off the freeway near a variety of restaurants. The guest rooms reflect modern design trends, and for big families they offer a two-room unit that sleeps six.
Smoke free premises. 61 units. 3 stories (no elevator), interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
Pros: Newer facility or remodeled, the facility itself was updated and clean. Girl up front a little grumpy it seemed.
Cons: Kitchen/Breakfast room was literally one table. No room for more than 2-3 people to get food and at times there were 8-10. They need to fix this, move it out of the closet where they have it set up.
NO elevator! My 86 year old mother-in-law had to climb 2 flights of stairs, not good.
Pros: Nice rooms. Nice staff.
Cons: The chlorine in the pool was very high and hurt our throats to breathe in the facility. After swimming my hair was awful from all the chlorine. The continental breakfast area was very small and very limiting. I traveled with my husband, children, parents and siblings. We squeezed into one table for breakfast but there were some guests who were annoyed at us for taking up space and having chattery children. One guest was very rude to me and my children and asked me to take my children out of there. I think having a bigger area for breakfast would be helpful in voiding situation like mine..
No Elevator for 3 Stories...
Pros: The front desk staff were wonderful John and Dallas. They are expected to do at least a 2-3 person job and Dallas does it with a smile.
Cons: It has a handicapped crane for disabled to use the pool but no elevator for a 3 story Hotel!!! When I booked I said that I needed a 1st story room or if they had an elevator any was ok. When I went to checkin at 3PM (their earliest checkin time) there were no 1st floor rooms!!!! I told them that I was a senior reviewer for Trip Advisor(which I am) and John found one.
They also have hundreds of rooms, but only 4-5 tabled to eat Breakfast at. It was a chaotic mess!!! But Dallas that had to do everything, check people out, refill the food, answer the phone, was very sweet and did it all with a smile.
I was there for the...
Good bang for the buck...
Pros: Hotel was recently renovated, clean and good value for the money. Location was convenient, not too far from downtown Spokane or the lake.
Cons: Breakfast was not good and in the tiniest room possible. The entire hotel room was very small and the pipes made a bad noise when hot water was run. We tried to get our room cleaned on the last day but nobody came by.
Over all i nice stay
Pros: The room was small but very nice and clean.
Cons: While we were checking in, the two people at the front desk were talking about work related stuff and making us wait and listen. It could have easily been figured out after we were done.
Newly redone, good location.
Pros: Staff was great, it was very clean and newly remodeled.
Cons: Hard to find the front door! It used to be the second building of the hotel next to it so there's not a big entrance. Very confusing.
Nice stop over
Pros: Very clean, quiet, friendly staff, good bed w/ extra pillows, nice shower, in room coffee maker plus microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV, Good breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom adequate but a little small. TV pic. grainy.
