Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens is at 507 W. 7th Ave.; from downtown, take Stevens St. s., then 7th Ave. w.; the gardens are in Edwidge Woldson Park, adjacent to the Corbin Art Center. Mature deciduous trees form a green backdrop for rose and perennial gardens. Lilac bushes are among the only plants surviving from the original garden. Other features that have been reconstructed include a tea house and pergola.

Note: The gardens are situated on a terraced hillside, with vertical paths punctuated by rough stone steps. There are some steep climbs up and down the hillside, numerous steps to negotiate and inclines without handrails.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
