Historic. Built in 1916 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the plant is a three-story, steel-reinforced concrete and brick structure that for 70 years provided steam heat to more than 350 downtown buildings. The industrial interior has been preserved, and two huge boilers are in the dining room. The setting is a distinctive one in which to experience new American cuisine and handcrafted microbrews.
