Pros: It is a beautiful property, the grounds are expansive and the river view was well worth the extra money. The staff are very friendly and ready to offer assistance at every turn.
Cons: The outdoor hot tub was not as hot as I might have liked and other people seemed to agree that it could have been turned up some. They should also warn you that you have to have drinks delivered to the pool rather than bring one with you.

Pros: The setting in the woods was lovely and relaxing. Plenty of activities for families and older people. The meals were excellent -we had prime rib and salmon. Excellent service from curbside valet to food service. Wine tasting opportunity, too.
Cons: We had expected our room to have a king bed w/rollaway, but it had 2 double beds. The hotel was full, and we couldn't be moved, but the staff was helpful. No free breakfast, and the champaign breakfast was pricey, so we went into town to the bakery. Yum!
