Job Carr Cabin Museum is at 2350 N. 30th St. within Old Town Park. Considered the birthplace of Tacoma, this log cabin is a replica of the home of the first permanent Euro-American settler to the area. The cabin is furnished in period and houses Carr family photos, original diaries, interactive displays and items from other early Tacoma settlers. Mr. Carr later became the town's first postmaster and its first mayor. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
