I definitely be staying here...
Pros: Almost everything was thought of, there was even a nightlight in the bathroom. The room was spacious, beds were comfy, room was clean and the pool area and weekend breakfast were EXCELLENT! There is a 24 hour complimentary coffee bar in the lobby and the staff was very friendly. I took a chance on this hotel outside of the city and was blown away. I will definitely be staying here for all of my future visits!
Cons: There isn't much to improve but we could have used some papertowels or bar towels for the coffee area. It was hard not to spill a little when making coffee and there was nothing to use to wipe it up.

Cons: My daughter found an empty plastic bottle at the bottom of the pool. The air conditioner did not work properly. The beds are very uncomfortable. The wires behind the desk were a tangled mess. The toiletries and snacks for sale were $3.00 each which is entirely too expensive. I made my reservation with one visa debit and gave them a different visa debit to use when I checked in but they charged the wrong card anyway and were unable to figure out how to reverse it. They charged the full bill upon check in, approximately $800.00, and I am accustomed to the charges being done upon check out. My finances were messed up because they charged the wrong card and could not reverse it. They said I had to call my bank to get it changed. My hairdryer set off the fire alarm from heat and steam. The manager didn't believe that it was the hair dryer that could have caused it. She came to inspect the room and was accusatory and suspicious treating us like criminals. My husband had a heated discussion with her and shut the door on her when she wouldn't leave. She came back 5 min later and told us we had 20 minutes to leave and was still trying to argue her point. When we got to the lobby to check out she had called the police. Upon check out (before 11AM) she charged us for the night because we did not give 24 hours notice. The police escorted us out. My 11 year old daughter was horrified.

Very noisy from the street. They gave us a room to the streetside with a couple of highly used streets (highway 405 and major local streets). Right in front of the hotel was a minicar funcenter.

Pros: We were able to check-in 3 hours early - at Noon. The pool was nice. It was FULL of little kids until 10pm when it closed. That was to be expected though, this hotel is next door to the Family Fun Center (an amusement park for children). The room had both firm and soft pillows on the each bed with a little placard letting you know which pillows were which. The room was spacious and even had a short dividing wall between the beds and where the foldout couch is. There were three of us (2 adults and 1 child) and we could have easily (and comfortably) put twice as many people in the room as we had. The room had a nice kitchen type area where the mini-fridge was concealed in the lower cabinetry and a microwave in the upper cabinetry. They also had a variety of cups, mugs, and wine glasses in the room. I didn't drink any of the in-room coffee because coffee (regular and decaf), hot and ice water with a full spread of condiments were available in the lobby 24-hour a day. There was also a large closet to hang garmet bags and coats with an ironing board, iron and extra bedding inside. The floor to ceiling mirror on the door was also a nice touch. The room was well decorated and a comfortable room to stay in.
Cons: At check-in, we were told that our floor (4th Fl.) was a 24-hr strictly enforced "quiet floor" due to it being occupied by flight crews who were day sleepers. We were later told by the front desk who was checking our friends in that they have contracts with several airlines, that every floor has flight crews and the entire hotel has a strictly enforced 24-hour quiet policy. It makes no sense to me at all to put flight crews on every floor of a hotel that is next to a children's amusement park. When housekeeping came through on day 2 of our stay, they only took the old towels away and brought new ones. They didn't make beds or empty trash cans.
