Clark County Historical Museum, 1511 Main St., is housed in a 1909 Carnegie Library. Changing exhibits focus on local and national topics. The museum also houses a reference library and offers guided architectural walking tours of downtown Vancouver.
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$4; $3 (ages 62+ and students with ID); $2 (ages 6-18); free (active military with ID and their families); $10 (family, two adults and two children). Walking tour $7; reservations are recommended.
Hours: Museum open Tues.-Sat. 11-4 (also first Thurs. and first Fri. of the month 5-9 p.m., Feb.-Nov.). One-hour walking tours are offered Fri. at noon, Sat. at 9, late May-Aug. 31. Phone ahead to confirm tour schedule. Closed major holidays.
