Cons: The size& comfort of the suite was not up to what we are use to in a suite
Pros: Location was great and it was neat to stay in a historic hotel.
Cons: Too expensive for what it was. We could've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn next door for $80 cheaper and the rooms looked comparable. Underwhelming breakfast. Overall, nice, clean place but definitely overpriced for what it is.
Pros: Loved the European breakfast. Met the.owner and daughter were on hand. Loved the downtown location. Walking distance to the local restaurant.
Cons: Not much.

Pros: bed was good
Cons: Breakfast was just ok
Pros: IT WAS MISERABLE IN ALL RESPECTS
Cons: ROOMS HAD NO WAY TO COOL, A.C. WON'T COOL, NO EXHAUST IN BATH, HAD TO PAY FOR PARKING WHICH WAS ADVERTISED AS COMPLIMENTARY, FOOD LEFT FROM PRIOR GUEST IN REFER, SHOWER HEAD STRAIGHT TOO HIGH W/O MEANS TO ADJUST AND POURS STRAIGHT DOWN W/O HAND HELD. SHOWER SLICK, NO SAFETY GRAB BARS AND GLASS PARTITION REQUIRED YOU TO PASS THROUGH TO VALVE AND TURN ON WHILE COLD WATER POURS FROM 9 FEET AHEAD AND DANGEROUS FLOOR IN SHOWER. COMPLAINED OF STIFLING HEAT AND NO REMEDY. TRIED TO OPEN WINDOWS AND FORTUNATELY THEY ARE OLD AND LEAK SO I OPENED ALL BLINDS TO GET ANY SEEPAGE OF AIR BUT CITY LIGHTS ARE IN THE WINDOWS ALL NIGHT. TOILET PAPER HOLDER WON'T WORK; GRABS PAPER AT EACH SQUARE, PHONE RINGS INTERMITTENTLY LIKE A SHORT ALL NIGHT W/O ANY MEANS TO SHUT OFF SO HAD DESK PUT DO NOT DISTURB ON ROOM. CHEAP LINENS. NOTHING AT ALL IS "FRENCH" AS I HAD HOPED THE NAME IMPLIED. I FOUND OUT IT IS JUST ANOTHER HILTON, NOT A "FRENCH BOUTIQUE" HOTEL. DISLIKED PARKING GARAGE, LONG CORRIDOR WITH VERY LOW CEILING TO ACCESS HOTEL AND FEELS CLAUSTROPHOBIC AND TO DISCOVER YOU PAY FOR THAT WAS TOO MUCH.
Pros: Nothing other than the idea of being downtown
Cons: Everything! the biggest disappointment I've experienced in any lodging situation. There is something miserably wrong with the ventilation system of the whole building you cannot cool the room the first night I complained to the staff the following morning the second night after No Sleep the first night I called again to the hotel desk and requested some fans be brought into the room there were none available; a staff member at 6:10 in the morning brought me a fan suffocating. Imagine we're talking about March and imagine what this hotel will like in June or later in Yakima it's never going to make it unless you fix this!Next the ventilation in the bathroom is miserably deficient I stood on the toilet seat, lid down, to put a Kleenex on the ventilation ceiling to see if it had any suction whatsoever it barely could hold up the Kleenex. The one shower I took stepped out the mirror was fogged and took quite some time to unfold. The shower is a miserable situation! the shower head is about 2 feet above my 5'6" frame with one head straight down on top of any person who has to walk into the shower past the glass door partition, ,turn on the water, which is cold at the moment step back out to let it warm up.Once the water warms up you step in you have nothing but one head to pour and straight down on you; there is not a hand held shower. With an expectation of even a hint of a french-style hotel there's not even an inkling of any such thing! Obviously the architect or anyone that had any influence in the hotel has no idea what a French Hotel would be like. It has nothing of the amenities or the commonplace conveniences up in a hotel in France or elsewhere in all of Europe.I also find the lack of any kind of handle knob grab bar in the shower is a safety hazard at least. It has a thin partition of glass, a plastic shower pan and it has absolutely nothing to hold onto in the shower.
