West Virginia State Wildlife Center is s. on SR 20 at CR 11. The center exhibits native and introduced animals and birds in natural settings. Among the animals exhibited are bison, elk, mountain lions, snakes, river otters, timber wolves, white-tailed deer and wild turkeys. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
$3; $1.50 (ages 3-15).
Hours: Daily 9-5, Apr.-Oct.; 9-3, rest of year (weather permitting).
