The Marx Toy Museum is at 915 Second St. Louis Marx created the Louis Marx Toy Co. in 1919, and before long it claimed the title of world's largest toy company. During its 5 decades of operation, the plant in nearby Glen Dale produced toys that should be familiar to most baby boomers. The museum's decor, designed to highlight the 1950s, displays the company's most memorable toys: Rock'em, Sock'em Robots; Big Wheels; Johnny West figures; and themed plastic play sets such as Fort Apache, Roy Rogers, Dodge City and Davy Crockett. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
