West Virginia State Farm Museum is 5 mi. n. on SR 62 to Fairgrounds Rd., following signs. This 50-acre museum features log cabins built in the early 1800s, a replica of an old Lutheran church, a one-room schoolhouse built around 1870, a print shop, a taxidermic collection, a doctor's office, a country store, farm equipment including a collection of tractors, a working blacksmith shop, an herb garden, railroad cars and a barn.
Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
