Wyalusing State Park is 6 mi. n. on CR X (N. Bagley Ave.) to 13081 State Park Ln. The 2,628-acre park encompasses the spot where Father Jacques Marquette and Louis Joliet discovered the Mississippi River. Prehistoric mounds lie on Sentinel Ridge, 520 feet above the Mississippi. Interesting rock formations, bluffs and lookouts are found throughout the park. Camping, picnicking, fishing, canoeing and hiking are popular.
