Kettle Moraine State Forest—Northern Unit is 7 mi. e. on SR 67. Visitors can take a self-guiding automobile tour to view such geological formations as eskers, kames and kettles, created by glaciers more than 20,000 years ago. Henry Reuss Ice Age Visitor Center provides information about the forest's geological history. Recreational activities include boating, camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, swimming, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
