Forts Folle Avoine Historical Park is 2.5 mi. w. from jct. SR 35 to 8500 CR U. This 80-acre living history site includes reconstructions of an Ojibwe Indian village and fur trading posts that flourished along the Yellow River 1802-04. Costumed interpreters provide guided tours of the park, which includes museum displays and archeological exhibits. A research library is on the premises.

Hours: Park open Wed.-Sun. 10-4, Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day weekend; Sat.-Sun. 10-4, day after Labor Day-Sept. 30. Tours depart on the hour 10-3. Research library open Wed. 10-3. Allow 1 hour minimum.
