Pros: The lake view was lovely we ordered room service breakfast and ate on our balcony. Recommend the berry pancake fluffy with crispy edges. Delicious sausage and potato pancakes. Lola's for dinner was excellent with a varied and innovative menu, and nice wine list
Cons: Front desk staff were very efficient and check in and out was quick. In two days crossed paths with many other staff people who were not particularly helpful. I was struggling with the luggage cart and although there were more than three staff people in the area none offered to help. This happened on the way in and out. A smile for the guests would be nice.
Cons: The staff is very rude and unhelpful. I booked a lake-view room but they gave me one with a view of the parking lot. I called the front desk to ask for the right room and they told me that it wasn't clean and that I had to wait for a few hours. After waiting for a few hours, I went to the front desk to ask for the room. This time they gave me a room with a view of the courtyard. I called them again and after a number of arguments with different staff and management they told me that there wasn't anything that they could do, that booking.com had made a mistake. At check-out I noticed that they had added an additional $160 for a room upgrade. The management of this hotel is just dishonest. Although I showed them that my confirmation said "lake view" they refused to give me the room that I had booked. Look at other reviews who had the same issue. Clearly a problem that they don't want to address.

Pros: Wonderful room, very very clean
and most comfortable
Cons: reservation was for a lake view room and
the lake could only be viewed from one small
corner of the patio. When we explained this to staff checking us in she just repeated that the lake could be seen from the patio. For the cost of the room we wanted to see the lake from the room.
Pros: loved the patio outside the room
Cons: did not get the lake view room we booked
Pros: We took the Sunset Cruise from 7:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesday, 8/04/15. It was fun, informative and very relaxing. Great Tour Guide. Elkhart Lake is beautiful. The room also was very nice, with a very comfy king size bed. The whirpool bath in the room was wonderful also.
Cons: The only negative for my wife and I was finding this resort. Kind of out of the way. We used our GPS and ended up in a lot of little towns along the way. There probably is an easier way to get to Osthoff than we took coming from Pewaukee, WI. Going home seemed a little easier. Getting around the resort was also not convenient. It is a long way from the north end where our room was to the Front Desk.
Pros: Great bed, noise almost nothing, installations in great shape
Cons: Breakfast is open until 7 am
Pros: The room itself was excellent and we loved eating at Otto's Restaurant. Prices were reasonable and food was excellent.
Cons: I reserved a lakefront room and got a courtyard room. It overlooked the reflecting pond. One of the reasons I booked here was the lake view. Very disappointed!
Cons: Bedding was excellent, but soft furnishings were dated!
Pros: Food was good and the facility was nice.
Cons: Our room was cold and we had to increase the heat to 84 and close the drapes to get the room comfortable. The fan on the heater was also very loud.
